Evita
It is said that Eva Peron was the heart and spirit of her husband's successful political career. She has been the subject of musicals and movies, and the entire world knows her by the name "Evita," given to her by her adoring country. Evita was a complex woman. Indeed, she did have ambition, but she used the power she earned compassionately and responsibly. She worked for the rights of women and the poor. She was also a woman of great beauty and style. As an actress and a model she broke the hearts of many men until she met her husband, Juan Peron. When she passed away in 1952, the people of Argentina mourned deeply--as did the world, and Juan Peron--for this great lady. |

Like Evita, this beautiful tiara has a complex, three-dimensional design. The graceful arches are entwined with naturalistic branches,
flowers, and leaves. The decoration is encrusted with Austrian crystals. Crystal solitaires carry the design out to 7 1/2 inches of the 12-inch band.
