Monet's Garden
The Impressionist painters of the late nineteenth century were best known for bringing the dance of light to life. Claude Monet's vibrant paintings made him one of the most admired of the Impressionists. With a high-spirited dash or daub of paint he created poetry on canvas. Some of his favorite subjects were the ones he saw out his own window. He was famous for his beautiful gardens and he often captured these in his paintings. |

If you look closely at this beautiful floral tiara you can see the play of colors in the crystalline light and the soft glowing pearls. Monet himself would have appreciated the spark in the fiery Austrian crystals, or the delicate twinkle of the minutely crafted embossed metal. The clusters of flowers are clever in their variety, and placement, so that this piece of art seems three dimensional, as if a soft breeze could actually sway the tender blossoms. The sweeping arch of the design makes this tiara look gorgeous with veils, and it has pin loops on either end of the band to help secure it. The decoration spans 7 inches of the 14-inch band. With the lovely antique silver-tone finish this feels like a museum piece. You can wear this striking tiara with many different hairstyles, but the luminous diamond white pearls are most compatible with white, and off-white dresses. The bride is wearing necklace No.428, earrings No.405, and veil No.605 which are not included with this tiara. |
