Floral Tiara
Botanical
Throughout history, artists have liberally looked to the natural world for inspiration. No other movement in art celebrated nature quite as lovingly and beautifully as Art Nouveau. Inspired by the Romantic movement, and the seemingly disparate views of nature emerging in science and art, the English were especially adept at capturing the essence of a simple flower garden. Textiles by masters such as William Morris may be stylized, but the true spirit of the plant seems to be vibrant and alive in his vines and pomegranates. This lovely flora and fauna was further enhanced by a worldly view that appreciated the mystery of the Orient.

This breathtaking tiara is a wonderful representative of the ideas of Art Nouveau. The design has a sense of flow and growth, enhanced by elegant arabesques that look as if they were transplanted from a priceless, Persian rug. The piece contains both stylized, and very naturalistic flowers and leaves. Brilliant and fiery Austrian crystals embellish the lovingly etched metal details. The incredible decoration measures 7 1/2 inches of the 13 1/2 inch band, and is a gracious 3/4 of an inch high. Pin loops on each end of the band make it easy to secure. You can use it with a variety of hairstyles, and the refined shaped makes it a good tiara for all sorts of beautiful brides. The band is also gracefully curved to fit the human head with comfort. The crisp silver toned metal looks best with colors such as white to off-white in bridal gowns, but will compliment most bridal ensembles nicely. Add a touch of the mystery to your wedding celebration. The bride is wearing Necklace No.436, Earrings No.441, and Veil No.602, which are not included.
