Princess bridal museum quality tiara inspired by Emily Dickinson

Emily

Wild Nights--Wild Nights!
Were I with thee
Wild nights should be
Our luxury!*
--Emily Dickinson, "Wild Nights"

No other person in history lived their life so quietly, yet influence the world so profoundly. Emily Dickinson rarely left her childhood home in Amherst Massachusetts. It would be easy to characterize her as the dutiful, and prudish daughter of her puritanical parents. But the treasure trove of concise yet brilliant and intensely emotional poems found after her death speak otherwise. Under the guise of a mousy and reclusive eccentric was a woman of great imagination, and even greater passion.

Although Emily never married, rumors abound about her secret romances. Among her lovers was a young law clerk who studied with her father, whom her father considered to be too poor for his daughter. She was also rumored to be involved with a married reverend! Many of her poems were inspired by these unfulfilled love affairs. Because of her fervent works, this quiet woman has become a very romantic figure. Even today men of letters often fantasize about traveling back in time and freeing her from her repressive seclusion and loneliness.

Perhaps it isn't a cache of priceless poems, but this delicate, heirloom inspired tiara is definitely a treasure. Like Emily Dickinson herself, its modest beauty belies the passion inherent in the lovely floral design. A delightful 8 inch design of tender blossoms seems to be anchored to the 14 inch band by delicate bows. The design is encrusted with softly twinkling clear Austrian crystals as well as accents of pink Arora Borealis crystals. Scattered thorugh out, are princess cut Austrian crystal rhinestones, 14K gold plated leaves accented with Austrian crystal rhinestones, as well as off-white hand beaded detail. The romantic 14K gold plated finish makes it a wonderful accent for any bridal ensemble. It's very versatile, as well, and can go with a variety of hairstyles. The classic design is 1 1/8 inches in height, so it's and ideal compliment for a shy bride. This tiara is the perfect compliment to any color gown, especially those with pink accents.
