Abigail Adams
14-karat gold plated!
Wife of President John Adams, Abigail Adams married John Adams in 1764 at the age of twenty.
They had two daughters and three sons. Mrs. Adams cared for her children at their Braintree
home in Massachusetts while her husband practiced law. During the American Revolution,
she ran the household alone. In 1788 her husband was elected first as vice president and
then president. She hosted many fine parties at the White House and was known for her
impeccable taste in understated, yet elegant jewelry and clothing. Never one to flaunt
her position in society, Abigail spent equal time at the capital and at her family home.
After the presidency, she was happy to return to Braintree and resume farming and caring
for her family. But she always treasured the family tiaras and jewelry and bequeathed
it to her children. She died at home on October 28, 1818.

This is a tiara that you can bequeath to your children. 14-karat gold plate makes it truly an
heirloom piece. The lovely band is graced with beautiful,
full rose blooms of off-white porcelain. These gorgeous, natural-looking blossoms are hand wired
with 14-kt gold plated wire to the gold band. Centered in the petals are brilliant
stones of Austrian crystal. Lilies and very special satin roses of a soft, blushed pink are
clustered around the larger flowers, and buds of ivory faux pearls and crystal cubed beads.
Graceful leaves, enameled in pink and sprinkled with sparkles, add a wonderful, and
whimsical finishing touch. The very pretty and feminine bouquet spans about 8 inches of a 12-inch band.
Pin loops at the ends secure it to your hair. This exquisite comb goes well with a
variety of hairstyles, both up, and fuller down dos. The soft color of the flowers
best compliments off-white, ivory, and even champagne-colored ensembles.
The bride is wearing a necklace, earrings, and veil which are not included. Be sure to check the other galleries for
wedding accessories perfect for yourself or your bridesmaids.
